Some FAQs about our Prom photography & the way we do it for you
What will you charge us to photograph our Prom or event?
Nothing! Your photography is entirely free. You only pay for your prints which are then mounted on the spot for you to take away that evening. If your venue is some distance away we might make a nominal charge for mileage but we will advise you of this and have your approval in advance.
How do we make a booking for you to come to photograph our event?
Clearly we will first need to know the time date and location, so that we can confirm its' availability. This can be done by telephone or e-mail. But to make a firm booking so that your date is exclusively yours we will need you to complete and return one of our Booking Forms which must be signed perhaps by a head of year or other responsible adult in the case of a School Prom. Your date is not booked unless you do this.
Can we purchase additional prints later?
Of course. All the images we shoot at your Prom or event are later up-loaded to your own private portfolio on our web-site. These are accessed by means of a unique password which we will give you at your location. Then you can order and pay for extra prints on-line as well as enlargements which we can supply to you either un-mounted or mounted and framed.
How long will the pictures be available to view and purchase prints on the web-site?
Usually for up to 12 months from the date of your Prom.
Will we have a choice of individual images from which to make our final selection?
Yes. We do not operate a 'production-line' photo-shoot where you are given two or three options good or bad whether you like them or not. We will shoot a wide variety of images to help you relax in front of the camera as well as to ensure we give you results that show you at your best.
What style of pictures can we have?
The choice is yours, after all it is your party! From as Stylishly Elegant as you look to Funky Fun as daft as you like and anything else in between. You can individual pictures or groups of friends. Why not have a look at the images we display on our web-site all of which were shot on location at Proms and parties to see the sort of pictures you can expect.
How long will you stay at our Prom?
Until it finishes! Usually we are the last to leave, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy your party as well as your photography!
We would like you come to meet our Prom committee or organisers of our event in advance. Will you do this?
Yes, of course. It is important for us to know what you want so do that we need to meet you to discuss your plans.
Are you covered by Public Liability Insurance?
Naturally.
Do you work alone or with a team?
I usually work with one assistant who is responsible for displaying your images so that you can select your favourites and then printing and mounting them. For very large Proms and events it might be necessary to have a second assistant.
